  1. Q Is Belleville Christian School accredited?

    A

    We are fully accredited by WACS and ASIC.

    We are also recognized by the State of Illinois.

  2. Q Do you have dormitory or guest-house services?

    A

    A student dormitory is well ready for students. Entering the dormitory requires certain conditions such as high academic achievements, living areas and etc.

    Moreover, guest house services for missionaries are well prepared too.


  3. Q What grading scale do you use?

    1. Percent Range : A+ 95-100 ; A 90-94 ; B+ 85-8 9 ; B 80-84 ; C+ 75-79 ; C 70-74 ; D+ 65-69 ; D 60-64 ; F below 60

    2. GPA Scale : A+ = 4 ; A = 4 ; B+ = 3.3 ; B = 3 ;C+ = 2.3 ; C = 2 ; D+ = 1.3 ; D = 1 ; F = 0

    3. Honor's GPA Scale : A+ = 4.5 ; A = 4.5; B+ = 3.8 ; B = 3.5 ; C+ = 2.8 ; C = 2.5 ; D+ = 1.8 ; D =1.5 ; F = 0

    4. AP GPA Scale : A+ = 5.0 ; A = 5.0 ; B+ = 4.3 ; B = 4.0 ; C+ = 3.3 ; C = 3.0 ; D+ = 2.3 ; D = 2.0 ; F = 0


  4. Q Are you a college prep school?

    A

    Both Yes and No are our answers. A majority of our students go on to colleges,
    so we do have multiple rigorous sets of courses to prepare students well for colleges.

    But, we always do focus on serving all Christian families.

  5. Q Are books included in tuition?

    A

    No, textbooks are not included in tuition.

  6. Q Do you have cafeteria services?

    A

    Yes. We have cafeteria services for both students and teachers. Lunch is provided for all day students.
    However, all three meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided for the boarding students.
    The menus can be found in the weekly newsletter, and all foods are free of MSG.

  7. Q Do you follow a traditional school calendar year?

    A

    Yes, we do start in late August and end in early June with traditional Christmas and Spring breaks.


  8. Q Do the students wear uniforms?

    A

    Yes, students wear school uniforms.

  9. Q What are the school hours?

    A

    On a regular school day, homeroom begins at 8:50 a.m. and school is dismissed at 4:15 p.m.

  10. Q What are your class sizes?

    A

    Each grade-level composes 1~ 3 classes with each class having a student to faculty ratio of 15:1.


  11. Q What are Belleville Christian School's general entrance requirements?

    A

    Each grade-level has different requirements, however, all students are expected to be raised from
    a faithful Christian family that lines up with strong Biblical principles. In general, the principal will go
    through consultation with students to determine whether they should be admitted on probation, and once
    approved, we will proceed with the screening process to make a final admission decision.

    We provide ESL/IEP course for international students who need English-language support, however, high
    levels of proficiency in English are expected of those who apply for high school.
